How Effective is Diatomaceous Earth?

Diatomaceous Earth bed bugs are one of the many kinds of bedbugs. As its name implies, it is a form of organic product which is mostly used as an insecticide. It is made from the fossilized remains of diatoms and other tiny plant-like creatures that were very much alive in the past. It is also considered as a form of natural pesticide and thus can effectively exterminate infestations of this particular bug.

The reason why this type of insecticide is known as "diatomaceous earth" is because they are produced from the dead bodies of diatoms and other small insects. The bedbugs will get attracted to these insects when they feed on them. These insects usually come out from their holes and feed on these insects and their eggs. After that they fall to the ground and die. Once an insect falls to the floor, it has no choice but to decompose and die naturally.

This type of bedbug is not like the others as it feeds on blood. They prefer to suck blood and they will even go into any part of the body that they can find to suck blood out. Diatomaceous earth is effective against the eggs of this particular type of bedbug.

The only downside about using this type of product is that if you happen to find these bugs in your home, then you might not find them in the area where you have applied the product. It is important though that you should make sure that there are no cracks or crevices that are moist or that the surface is hard and unbroken.

 It is important to note that you should only use Diatomaceous Earth to exterminate bed bugs as an absolute last resort. There are several other types of insecticides that can effectively be used and you should only use those insecticides that are labeled as being safe for your particular bedbug infestation.

 In summary, this insecticide is the most commonly known insecticide used for eradicating bed bugs. If you have a problem with these bugs, it is best that you should use Diatomaceous Earth to kill them.

 * Disadvantage of Bedbugs Exterminator

The only disadvantage about using this type of bedbugs exterminator is that it is expensive and it cannot be sprayed directly onto the surface of the bedding so that they will just get attracted to the surface. This means that you have to apply the product to the inside of the cracks and crevices.

 If this bug exterminator is too expensive for you, then you should use dust mite eliminators or something similar that will eliminate these bugs from your bed. It can be sprayed directly onto the bed. You should then allow it to remain on the bedding for a period of time. This will prevent the bedbugs from coming out and finding the bedding.
